Laptop or Hard Drive? Let the Budget Decide

October 19th, 2008

I have to let go of some documents and programs I have in my hard drive today because it’s getting really slow. I hate waiting and this poor old hard drive could hardly open the documents I need. I think it has reached its retirement age so I have to look for new one soon. I am still thinking whether I’ll buy a new hard drive to have more space for my docs or just buy a laptop that I can bring wherever I go. Well, things will all depend with my income this month. I hope to earn a lot so I can buy a whole new unit that can offer a brand new service to me.

What do You Really Need?

September 14th, 2008

It is a good thing now that there is always one particular technology that can give what we need. However, not everyone has the ability to determine which product is the best one to buy. So when looking for electronic products, take time to check whether you need a Touch Screen instead of a laptop or an ordinary personal computer.

Electronic products are very important at present because of so many solutions they offer. It is just a thing to note that the world of electronics is indeed a huge one. Computers and laptops are just simple examples and there are Embedded Computer that are far more innovative than personal computers. RFID is also an interesting technology to understand including the Transponders and readers that complete the set. Electronic product prices may vary from cheap to very expensive and buying the one that you don’t really need would be a complete waste of money.

Video Conferencing Systems in Schools

July 3rd, 2008

Technology bridges the gap between two people situated in different places around the globe. Mobile phones for on the go phone calls, computers for communication through the internet and now, video conferencing for collaboration in businesses. The best communication possible – this is what Video Conferencing Systems can give us. Especially for business, effective communication is a requirement and this could be given by video conferencing.

But the truth is video conferencing can be utilized not just to improve communication in your business but also for better and faster learning experience in schools. Better learning of students especially kids is absorbed through the eyes. Telling them about something they don’t actually see is something you have to repeat to them so many times before they could actually remember them. Through video conferencing systems, students will get to places and see things beyond their imagination.

Video conferencing system is also a good way for students to develop good listening and speaking skills. It promotes literacy and brings expertise and fun into the classroom. It enables two individuals located in different places to talk and see each other. It even encourages collaboration between schools locally and even worldwide.

Just own the perfect equipment and you’ll get the most effective collaboration for your business and in school.

Thanks to the Landowners

June 18th, 2008

Wireless technology has gained prominence because it gave a more convenient and easier mode of communication. People think that this is made possible by the generous landowners who allow cell phone tower leases on their land. But the truth is, wireless landlords do not just apply for a tower lease to increase the number of cell sites across the country and further improve the services given by telecommunication companies. They are also aware that having a cell tower lease on their lands would be a good source of regular and long term income.

There are several requirements before a cell tower lease gets approved. It should be a spacious flat topography land with an area of about 2,000 to 2,500 ft. squared. The location must not be near any other cell tower and must be accessible and strategically located in near an urban or suburban area. Since the agreement is good for 20 to 25 years, proper negotiation should take place between the landowner and carriers to make sure that everything is settled for the lease.

Whatever reason that landowners have when they apply for a tower lease, we still owe them for “sharing” their land for us to have a broader coverage and access for wireless communications.
